Early access privacy notice
Updated 8 October 2026. RideDot Home is an independent prototype project. This notice covers the early access page and optional reservation.
What we collect
When you join, we save your email, design and size preference, rechargeable battery preference, colour choice, optional city, consent version and submission time. If you answer the optional questions, we save your transport frequency and requested features. We also record campaign source, campaign creative and page variant when present in your link.
How we use it
We use your consent to send RideDot Home launch updates and contact you about early access. We use the design preferences and optional answers to assess demand and plan the product. You can withdraw consent or request removal at any time using the contact below. We do not sell your information.
Usage events and browser storage
We record page views, CTA clicks, scroll depth, video plays, design preference selections, FAQ opens and colour preferences using a random visitor identifier scoped to your browser tab. Events do not contain your email. After signup, a temporary reservation credential is stored in session storage so you can access your own questionnaire and payment status. Closing the tab normally clears this storage. Security session cookies support form protection; this page does not use third-party advertising cookies.
Payments
If you choose to pay a deposit, Stripe handles the checkout and payment details. We send your email to Stripe to create the checkout and save the payment reference, deposit confirmation and refund status. We do not store card numbers. Payment records are used to administer your reservation and refund.
Your choices and retention
Joining is voluntary. You can stay on the waitlist without paying a deposit, and all follow-up questions are optional. We keep waitlist information until the launch programme ends or you request deletion. Payment records may be retained where needed for refunds and accounting. You may request access, correction, removal or withdrawal of consent by contacting the project.
